Massage Theory & Practice — 176 Hours

This core course introduces students to the theory and practical application of massage therapy. Students develop hands-on skills while learning proper body mechanics, positioning, draping, client communication, hygiene, and professional treatment procedures.
At least 75 hours of the Massage Theory & Practice curriculum include instruction in Allied Modalities, providing students with additional therapeutic approaches and techniques.

This course prepares students for the professional and business responsibilities of massage therapy. Topics include professional ethics, legal considerations, client intake, documentation, SOAP notes, communication, workplace professionalism, and essential business operations.
Student Clinic — 200 Hours

The Student Clinic provides extensive supervised hands-on experience. Students apply the knowledge and techniques learned throughout the program while working with actual clients in a controlled professional environment.
Under qualified supervision, students gain experience in client interaction, assessment, treatment planning, massage application, documentation, and professional conduct.
Florida Laws & Rules – 10 Hours

Students learn the laws, rules, and regulations governing massage therapy practice in Florida. The course introduces the legal framework surrounding professional practice, scope of practice, licensure, and regulatory responsibilities.
